How much does an outboard repower cost?
It mostly comes down to the horsepower you choose and what your boat needs to run the new motor. If you stay with the same brand, you might be able to keep your controls and gauges. Switching brands or moving up in power usually means new controls, gauges, rigging and a new prop. Call your nearest store with your boat’s year, make, length and current motor, and we’ll put a quote together.
How long does a repower take?
It depends on whether the motor you want is in stock and how busy the shop is. An in-stock motor is the fastest way to go, and an ordered motor adds shipping time. We’ll give you a timeline along with your quote.
Which outboard brands can you get?
We sell Yamaha, Mercury and Suzuki outboards. If the model you want isn’t in stock, we can order it.
My boat has an Evinrude. Can it be repowered?
Yes. Evinrude doesn’t build new outboards anymore, so we can replace yours with a new Yamaha, Mercury or Suzuki. Switching brands usually means new controls, gauges and rigging, and we’ll include those in your quote.
